CREATIVE MINDS

YES! It's time to get creative again ! Every kid is a potential artist. Some like to paint, some like to spray graffiti. Some like to craft, some like to build. Some like to draw, some like to make collages. We encourage it all ! This season we invite your kids to create their own rocking boats to help decorate our store interiors. So let them create in complete freedom & safety and watch their inner artist unfold.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get your kids on board:

1. HOP IN

Hop into one of our flagship stores and pick up a piece of fabric for them to work with. Our sales managers will help inspire and motivate your kids to join the 'Rock your Boat Challenge' and give it their all. Here's a tip: our lovely AO76 fabric bags, which come with every purchase, are also a great base for making the boat's flag.

2. STOCK UP

Stock up on materials, or better still, use what you find around the house. Gather small pieces of wood from the garden for the hull and some strong branches to hold up the sail. Use our fabric from the shop, some old clothes for the sail or make it out of paper or leaves.

3. GO WITH THE FLOW

Let your kid's imagination run wild and unleash their inner artist. There are no limits. They can use any extra materials to create their own unique boat. Have fun together, invite their besties, take your time & go all out. 

4. JOIN THE CREW

Allowing your kids to express themselves artistically is a great BeKindAct. So this challenge is tailor-made for our BeKindCrew. Join our crew by registering and sharing their BeKindAct online and receive a goody bag.

5. DROP OFF

We're so excited and curious to see their creations and can't wait to display them all. Come and drop them off at one of our stores or head office. You have until 12 am on Monday 4 November. As a thank you for bringing in their artwork and sharing it with us, you will receive a 5% voucher for your next purchase.

6. WIN WIN WIN

Show them off in our stores and let everyone enjoy your kid's artworks. Be proud of your little artists and invite your friends and family to come and admire their creations. Most importantly, keep your kids motivated to keep creating and enjoy your artistic monkeys at work.

At the end, each store manager will choose the most creative boat. This artist will win a complete AO76 outfit for each kid in the family. The winners will be announced on Monday 11th November. Good luck to all !
