Have you ever hiked up Vinicunca, the famous rainbow mountain in Peru ? The formations rise to 5200m above sea level and offer a breathtaking palette of colours including orange and olive green reflected against a white and blue sky. An amazing sight experienced by our CEO Gaspard on his travels through South America.
In our styling office, Gaspard's encounter with this amazing natural phenomenon resulted in a playful & colourful teddy print for boys and girls; the Mika fur that characterises our winter teddy jackets. ART IS LIFE
Gaspard found inspiration in the most unexpected places during his trip through South America. While visiting Cusco, a small city in Peru, he noticed that many street artists were creating these amazing vibrant drawings to brighten up the streets. The colouring was so vivid that he decided to incorporate this observation into a lively autumn/winter collection.
The culture of the Incas is very much alive in Peru and their checkered flag is a great inspiration in itself. That's how our Big Check Violeta sweater was born; a real statement piece with a beautiful story captured inside. And check out our Inca inspired accessories, they are worth living for !

In the cosy town of Colchani in Bolivia, these beautiful little dolls are made by hand using different coloured yarns. It's true craftmanship and amazing to see how detailed and sophisticated these little souvenirs are made. Once again a great inspiration for detail and use of pattern.
